Why is my roof streaked black?

That is algae growth, not dirt or age. It spreads across shaded, damp sections of roof and it will keep spreading until it is treated.

Does the roof look clean right away?

It improves immediately, and it keeps improving. Some of the dead growth rinses off with the next few rains rather than all at once on the day we are there.

What about my landscaping under the roofline?

We soak the plants and grass below the work area before we start, keep them wet while we work, and rinse everything down when we are finished.

Why Roofs Get Dark Streaks
